Passing time at work at the mo = just back from Paris from a study trip - all good - frogs legs, eiffel tower, wine and loads of wee art galleries on a secret street I discovered!

Lots to do - busy working all week to afford accommodation bills and garage bills and food bills and all the rest of the bills....whilst essay stress, trying to catch up with every up here stress, drawing creative block stress, reasearch stress for my up and coming painting project for my course stress - aaaaa - all in good fun!

**I'm walking on sunshine......waaaaay-ooh!**

Trying to work on conceptual work at the moment in response to my life in the city - being choked by the fumes of people and the city and falling under all the depression and anger that is here

there are no smiles in Aberdeen.


Not entirely sure the sketchbook ideas are coming out as strong as I wanted them too - but still many more pages to explore in - it is just really nice to be doing something more emotionally challenging than the projects at Grays at the moment.

I know this totally sounds like a scam, but for a sad person like me who can't afford to stock up her student fridge again, I'm giving it a shot - and I've made a total of...... duh duh duh.... $0.30 - lol - but hey - thats just the first day -

Anilyhoo - on an arty note - one week left until the tutorial/reading week - can't believe it! I'm working on a second sketchbook at home at the mo in addition to course work as I am also attempting to build up another portfolio for direct entry in 2nd year at Glasgow School of Art - man I don't know whether I'm just being stupid and causing more stress in the attempt to actually try again - but hey nm - all I can do is try, will be quite happy in Aberdeen otherwise.....but its like GLASGOW SCHOOL OF ART man!

hehe - on another note - I ffound some cheapy swinging poi - YES!! so have been flinging them about and watching vids on youtube - impressive stuff - I can't wait to work up to that level
